Truckee softball: Two Wolverines receive All-League recognition

Sun Staff report

Truckee sophomore Stacy Brenes was voted to the Northern 3A All-League first team and junior teammate Kaycie Jones received honorable mention recognition.

Selections were made by Northern 3A coaches.

Fernley pitcher Jayme King was voted All-League and All-State Most Valuable Player, and Fernley’s Diane Chapin Coach of the Year.

No Truckee players made the All-State team, which is voted on by the four coaches with teams in the state championship tournament.
