Truckee softball | Wolverines take a pair from Quincy

The Truckee softball team swept both ends of a doubleheader against Quincy on Monday, 7-3 and 6-1.

Krysta Murphy earned the victory in the first game and Breanna Weber won the second.

In Game 1, Jessie Jensen was 3-for-3 with an RBI and Jackie Bolton 2-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs. Cheyenne Acevedo had two hits. Murphy allowed two earned runs on seven hits while striking out eight.

Weber fanned 10 hitters in Game 2 and gave up only one run on four hits. Acevedo was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI, Sage Parkhurst had two hits, Murphy a hit and RBI, and Bolton a hit and RBI.
