Truckee, South Tahoe baseball to play nonleague game at Aces Ballpark

Truckee and South Tahoe high schools have been given the green light to play a nonleague baseball game at Aces Ballpark in Reno on April 19.

There will be free admission for the 4 p.m. game at the home of the Triple-A team for the Arizona Diamondbacks. The year-old stadium has a capacity for 9,100 fans.

The Vikings and Wolverines will be the first high school teams to play a game at Aces Ballpark, according to South Tahoe coach Don Amaral.
