Truckee-Tahoe crew rocks Copper Mountain

The United States of America Snowboard Association’s national championships took place at Copper Mountain, Colo. April 4 through 8 with 75 competitors from the North Tahoe Series alone.

Out of 1,300 competitors from across the United States, the local competitors won the following events:

Billy Mann-1st in 15 and under skiers for halfpipe,

Bryan Mann-4th in halfpipe

Allyson Carroll-1st in boardercross, slopestyle, 4th in halfpipe

Stephanie Colquhoun-2nd in slopestyle, 7th in halfpipe

Bobby Witty-1st in halfpipe, slopestyle

Danny Witty-5th in halfpipe, slopestyle

Bryan Shuey-3rd in halfpipe

Ian Bigley-5th in halfpipe

Summer Fenton-3rd halfpipe, 4th G.S., 5th slalom, 7th slopestyle

Joe Boyes-6th halfpipe, G.S. 10th boardercross

Ross Baker-3rd slopestyle

Kelly Marren-9th slopestyle

Robert Dawson-1st slopestyle, 6th G.S., 10th slalom

Kaylen Obray-6th boardercross

Natalie Martin-5th G.S., 7th slalom

Kevin Cain-6th slalom

Matt Johnson-2nd boardercross, 9th halfpipe
