Truckee volleyball | Fernley goes down quietly

Truckee breezed past visiting Fernley in straight sets, 25-9, 25-14, 25-16, on Friday night to improve to 18-4 on the year.

Jillian Akers finished with a team-high eight kills, while Annie Reiswig had seven kills, Krysta Murphy six kills and Kiersten Knoppel five. Allison Costa and Kristina Tirman posted four kills apiece.

Reiswig tallied five service aces on 22 total serves to help the Wolverines, and Knoppel added four aces on 16 serves. Akers had 19 assists and Brittany Thomas eight assists, while Akers, Natalya Jones and Costa each had four digs.
