The Wolverines will host a league match against South Tahoe (4-2) on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

Winning has come easily for the Truckee volleyball team lately.

The Wolverines improved to 6-0 in Northern Division I-A play with a win in straight sets at Dayton on Friday, 25-22, 25-17, 25-13. The team then finished runner-up against large schools at the Carmichael Tournament on Saturday, going 4-2.

“Needless to say, we were pretty wiped out,” Truckee coach Erika Murphy said about the tournament, which was held inside a 90-degree gym.

Truckee, which lost to Division I Saint Mary’s (Calif.) in the championship match, is now13-7 overall. The Wolverines have not lost a set in league play.
