UPickEm: Bob Habeger wins overall title

What a Super Bowl!

I usually feel that the Super Bowl is not nearly as good a game as the AFC and NFC championship games, but that doesn’t seem to hold true for any Super Bowl in which Kurt Warner is involved.

Unfortunately for Kurt, he had to sit on the sidelines watching the Steelers march down the field for the game-winning touchdown, and couldn’t do much with the 35 seconds he had left.

So Pittsburgh fans rejoiced at their team’s sixth Super Bowl win, and Bob Habeger of Carnelian Bay must have done a little victory dance of his own, for he is the Overall Champion of the Sierra Sun’s UPickEm Pro Football Challenge with 189 total points.

Coming in second is James McMaster of Truckee with 185 points, with Jim Scott of Truckee just one point back in third.

Congratulations go out to all our winners, and a big thank you to all our players this season. It’s been a lot of fun competing against all of you.
