UPickEm: Game tightening as playoffs near
It’s coming down to the last few weeks of the regular NFL season now, and things are tight at the top of the Sierra Sun’s Pro Football UPickEm Challenge.
Bob Habeger of Carnelian Bay is out in the lead for the season-long race on the strength of many top finishes this year, with plenty of other players aiming to knock him off the top of the leaderboard.
In fact, Bob barely missed out on another win this week, taking second place behind Sam Pursel of Truckee, with the margin being the predicted score in the tie-breaker game.
So congratulations Sam! As usual, Sam has his choice of gift certificates from our sponsors ” Pete ‘n Peters in Tahoe City and the Blue Coyote in Squaw and Truckee, both of which are excellent places to catch all the NFL games this season.
For his second-place finish, Bob ” who must be quite a regular at the Blue Coyote and Pete ‘n Peters, considering the number of times he’s won this year ” will receive the gift certificate not chosen by Sam.
Think you can do better? Then get in the game now at SierraSun.com/ProFootball.
