UPickEm update: Marilyn Fisher wins final weekend of NFL postseason

Paul Raymore
Sierra Sun

With only the AFC and NFC championship games played last weekend, there wasn’t much room to display your football IQ in the Sierra Sun’s UPickEm Pro Football contest.

But that didn’t stop Marilyn Fisher of Homewood from pulling it off, taking first place last week with a near perfect prediction of the final score in the Baltimore-Pittsburgh game. Close on here heals were Christopher Cattran of Tahoe City, Dean Holbrook of Tahoe City, Eric Miller of Truckee and Holly Scheufler of Incline Village.

In the season-long overall competition, Bob Habeger has jumped back into the lead with 180 points, with many players right on his heals.

It’ll definitely come down to those Super Bowl predictions to determine who’s going to go home with the glory of being the champion of the Sierra Sun UPickEm Pro Football Challenge, and a gift certificate from our sponsors, the Blue Coyote and Pete ‘n Peters.
