Darcy Parrillo named Kings Beach District Manager

KINGS BEACH, Calif. – The North Tahoe Chamber announced that Darcy Parrillo has been appointed to the role of Kings Beach District Manager. Responsible for advancing the economic vitality and vibrancy of the Kings Beach District, the Kings Beach Manager is charged with enhancing its identity through placemaking, cultural and legacy events, business-forward initiatives, and strong business relationships.

“The person in this role serves as the primary liaison to the Kings Beach District business community, ensuring their needs are heard and supported,” said Kimberly Brown, North Tahoe Chamber executive director. “I’m thrilled Darcy has accepted this position and will lead efforts to support the Kings Beach business community. She has served as Operations Manager for the District since 2022 and is already well-connected and familiar with the community’s needs and opportunities.”

Parrillo will lead the District’s annual work plan and accompanying budget in collaboration with the volunteer Kings Beach District Advisory Committee. This includes leading revitalization initiatives, supporting efforts to attract, retain and expand businesses within the district, and advance opportunities that support economic vitality, community benefit, and long-term prosperity. She will also serve as the primary advocate and spokesperson for Kings Beach District businesses and the community with the NTCA, North Tahoe Chamber, NTPUD, TCDA, Placer County, Caltrans, and other public agencies and nonprofits.



Prior to serving as the Operations Manager for the Kings Beach District, Parrillo worked in design research for Kaiser Permanente and hunger relief efforts through Share Our Strength. She is a graduate of Colorado College and earned her Master of Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley.
