TRUCKEE, Calif. – Tickets are now on sale for the 23rd Annual Downtown Truckee Wine, Walk & Shop, returning to historic downtown Truckee on Saturday, Oct. 3, from noon to 4 p.m.
Attendees will indulge in an afternoon of wine tasting, culinary delights and shopping, all in support of a worthy cause. The event proudly benefits the Tahoe Food Hub, a nonprofit on a mission to build a food system that supports regenerative farming practices and increases local food access for the Truckee and North Lake Tahoe region.
Since 2004, the Downtown Truckee Wine, Walk & Shop has become a cherished autumn tradition, drawing nearly 1,000 locals and visitors to historic downtown Truckee each year. Participating shops have reported it as one of the biggest revenue days of the year, and over the event’s history, organizers have donated nearly $75,000 to local nonprofit organizations. Potential sponsors and participants, including restaurants, merchants and wineries, are warmly invited to join in making this year’s event a success.
“We are thrilled to celebrate 23 years of bringing our community together around great food, wine and the incredible local businesses that make downtown Truckee so special,” said event organizer Brinn Talbot. “With Chase International Real Estate returning as our premier sponsor, we have more venues than ever and a brand-new VIP experience in store — we can’t wait to see everyone on Oct. 3.”
General admission tickets are $75 in advance and $85 on the day of the event. Each ticket includes a commemorative wine glass for tastings at 30+ participating venues, unlimited food sampling and a program and map to all locations. A limited Prosecco & Pastries VIP experience runs from 11 a.m. to noon and features freshly baked pastries, quiche and mimosas before the main event; VIP tickets are $100 in advance and limited to 50 guests. Designated driver tickets are available for $30 in advance. Online ticket sales close at 8 p.m. on Oct. 2; day-of tickets will be sold next to the Downtown Truckee Train Depot.
“After more than two decades, this event continues to showcase what makes Truckee special — our incredible local businesses, our welcoming community spirit, and our commitment to supporting causes that matter,” said Talbot.
