Gregory was born in Lakeview Oregon, he died in Chico, California. Gregory grew up in Kings Beach, CA where he attended TTUSD kindergarten through 12th grade. Gregory worked the restaurant circuit while living on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe, but found his calling fishing crab in the Bering Sea of Alaska. Gregory was proud of his time at sea and of being filmed for The Discovery Channel reality show The Deadliest Catch. Between fishing seasons Gregory lived in Chico California where he met his love Caitlin Nenadal. Gregory lived for Caitlin, to whom he was engaged, and for riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Gregory had a heart of gold which shone through his eyes and his smile, his kind heart was rivaled only by his loyalty to his friends and family. Gregory impacted all whose lives he touched and he will be sorely missed. Gregory is survived by Caitlin Nenadal, his Grandfather Martin Urjevich, his parents Catherine and Monte Colburn, Scarlette Colburn, five siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
A service will be held at a later date in El Dorado, CA. where he will be laid to rest in the family cemetery.
