TRUCKEE, Calif. – The Truckee Chamber of Commerce announced the nominees for Top of the Town:72nd Annual Truckee Chamber Awards Celebration on Friday, September 26, 2025 at Alder Creek Adventure Center in Tahoe Donner. 

The nomination process for the Top of the Town Awards involved an open call to the community, inviting individuals to put forward businesses and leaders who exemplify excellence in their respective categories. Submissions were carefully reviewed by the Truckee Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, who are dedicated to recognizing those who contribute significantly to Truckee’s economic vitality and community well-being. All nominees must be a member of the Truckee Chamber of Commerce in good standing. 

This year there were five award categories that the community could nominate under. 

• Top of the Town – Business of the Year: Recognizes an established business that demonstrates sustained growth, exceptional service, and a positive impact on the Truckee community.
• New Business of the Year: Honors a recently established business (within the last two years) that shows significant promise, innovation, and a strong start in contributing to the local economy.
• Outstanding Customer Service: Celebrates a business or organization that consistently providing exemplary customer experiences, going above and beyond to meet client needs.
• Business Leader/Entrepreneur of the Year: Applauds an individual who demonstrates exceptional leadership, innovation, and strategic vision in their business ventures, driving success and inspiring others.
• Community First Award: Salutes a business or organization that prioritizes community well-being, demonstrating significant philanthropic efforts, environmental stewardship, or dedicated service to local causes.

Tickets are now on sale for Top of the Town. Tickets for Top of the Town are $60 for Chamber members and their guests and $80 for non-members. Your ticket includes entry to the event, access to the silent auction, savory appetizers, a charcuterie table,  a complimentary drink, and a day pass to either Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort or Tahoe Donner Cross Country Center. Additional beverages will be available for purchase at two cash bars throughout the evening.
