Signature wins included a 2-0 shutout of Pleasanton ECNL and a 4-1 victory over Davis ECNL RL.
The season marked the final club matches for nine seniors whose leadership and dedication helped build one of the strongest teams in Truckee River United history. It also marked the end of an era for Head Coach Aaron Abraham, who is retiring after serving Truckee River United since 2016. Abraham has coached many of these players since 2017, with several beginning their soccer careers under his guidance at even younger ages.
“It’s hard to put into words what this group has meant to me,” said Abraham. “I’ve had the privilege of watching these girls grow, not only into outstanding soccer players but into confident, resilient young women. Their success has never been about talent alone. It’s come from years of commitment, sacrifice, and always putting the team first. At the end of the day, sports are a conduit by which young people learn so many life lessons. I couldn’t be more proud of what they’ve accomplished; it’s been an amazing ride!”
Three seniors will continue their soccer careers at the collegiate level:
- Macee Abraham — Montana State University Billings
