Silicon Mountain technology business group to meet in Truckee

TAHOE DONNER and#8212; Silicon Mountain, a local networking group of technology entrepreneurs, professionals and virtuals will host their monthly meeting, Monday, Oct. 11, 6-8 p.m., at Tahoe Donner’s Pizza on the Hill, 11509 Northwoods Blvd., Truckee.

Chris Snideman, now working with the Truckee Airport, will discuss the specific challenges of starting his new venture, http://www.whispertrack.com, an aviation navigation database company attacking one of aviationand#8217;s greatest challenges: the negative effects of aircraft noise on communities. He will be joined by Robert Bousquet to address the challenges unique to keeping 100 percent of the founding efforts in Truckee and how they created proprietary database and process solutions to solve the effects of aviation noise on communities.

The Silicon Mountain group was founded by Dr. Johannes Ziegler, (always-icecream.com) and is sponsored by TekSystems, a technology services company. A $5 fee includes pizza, salad, and soft drinks.
